Finally got myself a decent image upload site business running

After I realized most of my uploads were concerning adult content, I decided to change my advertising strategy and specifically target the adult niche. The site is now making around $2.00 a day off AdSense and is slowly increasing.

It pays to look at traffic stats and content and to realize your best customers may not be who you intended.

Alexa was a big issue.

In the US, my site is in the 300,000 ranking.

But in India, it was in the top 25,000 Alexa for that country.

Well, you don't have to be in the top 100,000 to make money. I have two websites that sell two specific products that each get 100 or less unique visitors a day (as monitored by sitemeter) and still sell about a couple thousand dollars of merchandise each week.

Your site is well optimized for revenue from adsense. Its been a while but I didn't know you could have 4 blocks of adsense codes on one page?

The rule is no more than three adsense ads units. Each unit can be of any size - some units carry one link only, others three.
