Firefox linked to Yahoo Search

I just noticed that the standard (default) search engine/portal on Firefox is YAHOO - not Google.

Has it always been this way, or is this a change?

I mean I know you can change it over to Google, but what is the standard one that fires up when you search?

I thought it was Google it might have been Yahoo in it's beta stages I can't recall. But it is pre-loaded with; Google,Yahoo, Bing, Amazon, Twitter,Wiki. It only takes a misclick to reset the page possible what happened.
