BABA - Alibaba stock and other Chinese companies

We are familiar with Alibaba.com because it is a well known place to purchase counterfeits. Now it is a publicly traded stock with a huge following, that opened at an IPO price of 92 and change and has gone as high 120 and as low as 77.

I advise against owning Chinese stocks long term, because of the heavy manipulation and sometimes false accounting these companies provide. Here is an example of a bogus run on a Chinese stock that ended in collapse just today:
