Sony sues California man for selling jailbroken PS4 consoles

Interesting that Sony is trying to stop the distribution of jailbroken Play Stations.

I remember Sony were always very bloodthirsty when it came to this sort of thing - even with their own customers. I recall a few years ago it became a big consumer complaint issue about many Sony PSN users who had - apparently not knowing it was counterfeit - used some copied games. Sony in every such case would immediately and irreversibly block that user's PlayStation from the network thereby effectively making their PlayStation useless. Their only option would be to buy a new PlayStation.
