Mac vs pc

Well I've always used PC and it's really starting to become slow and non responsive so I'm in the process of deciding whether to get the new windows 7 computer or just get a MAC.

Can someone tell me the pros and cons. Considering windows 7 is supposed to be very responsive and well made unlike vista.

MAC is superior all the way around.

To sum it up:

In the movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley" Steve Jobs tells Hill Gates, "We'll always be better."

Gates responds: "Doesn't matter."

How is it superior?

Any specific reasons?

They're both machines which can get viruses. They just use separate software to run those machines i.e. windows and leopard OS x.
