Largest Pyro Show in the West
Set to music, Lake Tahoe's 4th of July "Lights on the Lake" is considered to be the "Largest Pyro Show in the West." Visitors and locals alike flock to the South Shore of Lake Tahoe to enjoy its annual 4th of July festivities.
I'm not up there this year but have spent more than a few summers in Tahoe. The last two times I caught the show it went on for a Full Hour - incredible.
I wonder if given the recession and the general economic malaise in Tahoe if the show is anything like what it used to be....
