If you get a failed login notification let me know immediately. It means that someone tried to login to your account five times and failed.
Someone (or something, probably a 'bot) was trying to access a California forum member's account today. He was notified, let me know, and I changed his username, and he will now change his password as well.
Really the username change wasn't necessary - after all, anyone may TRY to access anyone else's account, but I changed it for him anyway. The real protection is with the password.
SO: if you get a failed login notification, let me know that this has happened so that I may monitor that IP address being used for fraudulent activity. And in the meantime, change your PW to something very difficult.
