Suspension for Unpaid Item Strikes

I recently allowed a member of my family to use my Ebay account while I was living in the US for the summer. I returned home to find that they had received 3 unpaid item strikes and my account had been suspended.

Ebay told me that I needed to contact the sellers and get them to remove the strikes. I have done this, offering them compensation for the items which were bid on several months ago. Understandably the sellers are reluctant to help.

Is there any other way around this as the sellers wont remove the strikes against me? Any advice would be much appreciated

Eventually your account will be reinstated. This is one area where Ebay gives you a second chance, but will require that you stop being a deadbeat bidder.

I just did a tech support for someone and got back his account in this exact area.
