eBay Suspension for being tied to an account from 6 yrs ago

I had a partner and we parted ways. He put the account in his name and then scammed people. I have had an account with eBay for over a year and went to raise my selling limits and they tied me to this old account in "his name" and said fees were due. Wouldn't tell me how much or discuss the issues because the account was not in my name. However they are suspending my account because at one time it was in my name. I have started the process by emailing [email protected]. It appears from some of the posts on here that the mod says I need HELP I make a living on eBay Thanks

Ebay will suspend if any account linked to you is or has been suspended.

You need tech support, badly, before you destroy your chances for reinstatement.
