Come March 2019, eBay will no longer allow merchant account only (what they call ICMM) eBays. In fact, as this new eBay managed payments is rolled out, PayPal will NOT be an option for payment at least not until summer 2019. Adyen will be the payment processor for eBay Managed Payments.
Eventually, ebay accounts that have only a separate PayPal and no other payment method will be disallowed. Does this mean that eBay stealth accounts are dead? NO! I have developed and am testing a method to sign up for eBay managed payments, even with a stealth eBay account. The details of this process are being written into an updated version of the Short List. (The Short List is updated almost weekly.)
