The process has just changed slightly
Security Measure
The process is easier to initiate (just a couple of clicks instead of several), and now you may it as soon as four days after the auction has ended (before you had to wait seven days).
BUT, now you have only 32 days maximum to commence the process (rather than 60).
And now - the buyer has only fours days to respond (versus the old rule that you could strike him on on the eighth day if he failed to respond).
The unpaid item process can stay open a maximum of 36 days from when you open it. If the buyer responds, you can give him up to 36 days from the date the item closed to pay.
If you review the above thread, there are some nuances to the new rules, but the basics are: you may open within four days, and you may close if no response within four days. Also, it seems now that a strike against the buyer if he does not respond is no longer automatic - it "may" happen.
