Negative feedback - how do I remove negative EBAY feedback?

Is there anyway to get eBay to remove a negative feedback?
The buyer wants me to pay customs and duties, asked me to declare item as gift and threatened to leave negative feedback if I don't send money. All this is against eBay policy and eBay tells me that they are impressed with my 10 year 100% feedback rating but can do nothing.
What can I do? Legal etc.?
